Cryogenic(Low Temperature) API Manufacturing
As the pharmaceutical industry moves towards more and more complex small molecules, the need for specialized reactions that require cryogenic conditions continue to increase. Finding the right balance between lower temperature and higher yield and/or specificity as well as purity is needed.
Fred has the capabilities at all of its sites to do cryogenic reactions. We are doing organometallic chemistry at temperatures as low as -80°C (lower temperatures can be achieved with modifications to equipment and can be discussed).
The goal is always to try to eliminate low temperature reactions if at all possible but sometimes there are circumstances which dictate the path forward. For example, early stage development projects may urgently require material and not a perfect process. Fred can help you meet your specific goals based on your project.
